Fanni Völgyessy Szomor graduated in 1991 from the School of Jazz Singing of the Béla Bartók College of Music in Budapest. Already during her college years, she was travelling around the country with her own band.
Fanni is a sought-after performer for both studio and session work, and she is at home in various musical genres. She writes poetry and song lyrics, teaches and organises charity concerts.
Fanni receives invitations to perform at numerous festivals both in Hungary and abroad. Her fellow band members are among Hungary’s best musicians.
Fanni has released three orchestral and four solo albums. Her CD entitled „Tünderrózsa” (Fairy Rose) is accompanied by a CD-sized book of her own poetry and pictures of herself.
